Subtle textures, clean lines and contrasting surface finishes are a common thread that run through the jewelry that Janet Brum designs and creates.  Each piece is hand fabricated using sheet, wire and tube stock.  She uses both traditional and contemporary techniques and equipment to form and pattern her jewelry in her Greensburg, Pennsylvania studio.  Janet works with .935 Argentium Silver which is a purer form of Sterling.  Its composition results in a longer lasting shine and is produced using only traceable recycled silver.  Also incorporated into her designs are fine gemstones, 22K Gold bimetal accents, Akoya and freshwater pearls to enhance her one-of-a-kind and limited edition jewelry.

"Being creative is the best part of each day.  Persistence, patience and careful attention to each step of the process are the ingredients I feel are essential to achieve my desired goal of producing jewelry that possesses lasting quality and unique character with special focus on detail."

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about my processes or techniques.  I'm always happy to share whatever information I've learned along the way.
